Product Stewardship (PS) is one of the cornerstones of the Responsible Care program, which is a key mechanism in managing the circulation of chemical products throughout the life cycle to ensure safety for human health and the environment.

Product stewardship is the practice of ensuring health and environmental safety as an integral part of the life cycle of chemical products.

Main principles:

• Product management is a shared responsibility of manufacturers, suppliers and end users and requires the development of close dialogue and interaction between them.
• Supply chain participants must share information up and down to ensure the safe circulation of chemicals throughout their life cycle.
